One of the biggest complaints I hear from family businesses is that they are paying hourly rates with the current professionals they are using and it seems like there is no end in sight to what it is all going to cost.

In others words, as much as possible, we want to give you clarity and understanding at the start of our working relationship what the process will cost.

This way we get the money matters out of the way from the get go so everyone can focus on solutions and stop counting hours and adding the costs in their head.

Project Pricing / Phase Pricing

Most Family Business 'Projects' consist of completing at least 3 Core Phases.

​

After an initial consultation with you, I will provide your family with a breakdown of the investment needed to complete each phase of your project.  This allows everyone the opportunity to agree on the investment, and allows for the business to budget accordingly.

​

If only 1 phase is needed, then you only pay for what you need.

Hourly Rates

Sometimes hourly rates are the more economical option for your family business when your situation is not overly complex.  

The Intriguing Part of Human Nature

I find it interesting that we will pay a car dealership $195.00 and hour or more to fix our car or truck that is worth $90,000.00. 

 

But we will be reluctant to pay a similar rate to have a family business worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, or millions of dollars repaired.

Or worse, we are willing to live in conflict, or go to court and spends months or years and tens of thousands of dollars to have lawyers and judges decide our future.

​

In the end it is up to you and your family to decide what keeping your family business and your family together is worth.
